Sandra had made a fireplace for her home in Kentucky, so when She and Amy came out to visit, we thought it would be fun to make one for me as well. There a little difficulty getting to the point of actually making it. I didn't buy the right supplies, so we decided to make a Jo-Ann craft store run. While out, we decided to also go to Target and get some lunch. When we got home, we completely forgot what we set out to get- Paint. So we put off making the fireplace til the next day, when we had bought the paint. Sandra did a fantastic job, I just helped with the measurements and a little of the painting, the rest was all her. I can't get over how realistic the logs and flame are. I don't know if the picture captures it, but in person, it looks incredible!!
