Top 5 Favorite Movies

I thought it would be fun to name my top 5 movies and why I love and rewatch them over and over.

1. Pride and Prejudice
Who doesn't love the A&E version of the classic Jane Austen novel? Also, who doesn't love Mr. Colin Firth?!? Even though this is a 6 hour mini series, I could watch it over and over again. It is such a wonderful adaption, and I am always in agony if Lizzie and Mr Darcy will end up together!

2. Bride and Prejudice
The bollywood version of P&P. I absolutely love it! The music, dancing and costumes are incredible. When I first watched it, I was unsure about it, American movies don't have so much singing and dancing and I wasn't expecting it. Now, I love the songs, and sing along with them. I love the Lizzie character (Lalita) she is so beautiful and does her own singing. If you ever get a chance, watch it!

3. Black Hawk Down
I know this is a strange choice for a top 5 movie pick, but it has a special place in my heart. This was the movie Jon and I saw on our first actual date. I also, love war movies (thanks to my dad for that one) I always like watching normal, regular people, doing extraordinary things to protect their country. I love heroism. It is an incredible movie with an incredible cast (my fav is all the british actors trying to do american accents, it comes out like they are all cowboys! LOL)

4. Music and Lyrics
I love this movie! I love all the eighties songs, it has an awesome soundtrack and I love to sing a long with all the songs. I also like Hugh Grant dressed like hes in the 80s and that incredibly cheesy music video. While drew barrymore isn't my fav leading lady, I like her in this one.

5. Equilibrium
This is an awesome movie! It is an interesting premise, with what the world would be like if we had no emotion. What it would be like if humans were controlled, would the world be better? The fight sequences are incredible! I am not a huge fan of violence, but this fighting is orchestrated so well, its almost like a seamless dance ( i know that sounds strange, but I am not sure how else to describe) It also doesn't hurt that Christitan Bale is in it.
