Its Pumpkin Time!

I love, love, love this time of year! Its still warm during the day and a little cool at night, perfect for long sleeves or a sweater. The leaves are changing, a cool breeze is in the air and the arrival of pumpkins!
I was at the grocery store the other day and they had their pumpkins out it made me so excited that I rushed home to put out the beautiful pumpkins that Sandra and I made together. (Since they had theirs out, its not too early for me to put mine out :)
It is of course a Martha Stewart craft (I love her craft ideas!) While she made hers more of an autumn themed pumpkin we thought it would be fun to make Halloween pumpkins, so here they are! And I don't know if you can tell in the picture, the incredible shine that the glitter has. While at the craft store, we decided to go all the way and bought some very fine glitter and I think it makes a huge difference.

My girls and I have made these pumpkins for the past few years but I never thought of using a craft pumpkin that can be used next year, too. Great idea!

I think those look better then Martha's. And what an easy and messy, so therefor fun for kids, project! Thanks for the idea!
