Baby Shower!!

This past Saturday, Oct 20, was my baby shower! 

It turned out better than I could have imagined.

Thank you, Mom, for letting us use your house. 

My sister, Sandra planned the whole thing and she did such an amazing job! We decided that we wanted a more sophisticated version of a baby shower,  so we chose aqua, white and black. We found this fantastic invite on Esty, so we built the shower around it. 

All the decorations were courtesy of Etsy! That is such a wonderful website! We debated doing it all ourselves, but in the end, I am glad we outsourced it. Everything turned out much better than if we had done it ourselves.

My sisters, Jennifer and Becca, flew in for the special occasion and we could not have done it without them!

Also, my sister, Becca took all of the pictures and I am SO grateful to her. I was way too busy talking and enjoying myself to remember to capture all the wonderful moments from that day!

an up close of the jar tags. we got this idea of pinterest and a host of other party planning websites and I think they turned out great. they really tied everything together so well!

we had some really yummy food!

and in true behind the scenes fashion. the sandwiches actually burned, but I have such creative and clever sisters, who decided to just slice the burned part off and they turned out fantastic! And I bet no one realized it, until now that I am posting it. 

we didn't get a chance to get a picture of the finished/completed table, but this is close enough.

I was secretly hoping I would get one and I did!! So that look is excitement and utter happiness
