When we found out we were having twins, I actually had a family get together a couple of days later. And while I was dying to share our news, I knew this was a once in a lifetime chance to tell my family all at once!
I only had a couple of days and lets face it, I am kinda lazy. So the easiest thing that popped into my head was of course Thing 1 and thing 2!
I wrapped each onsie, and put them in seperate gift bags. At our family get together, I gave one to my mom and the other to my dad. I had them open them at the same time. My family is quick. It didn't take them very long at all to figure out that we expecting twins!
Jon recorded them opening them and the aftermath that followed. I am so glad that I will always have that moment to relive. It was such a fun surprise/reveal.
Here is a pic of the onsies I took before I wrapped them up. I think they turned out pretty dang cute.
