makin' bread

my mom makes fantastic bread. she taught me as a teenager, but of course, I thought that I would never need to know how to make bread. At that point in my life, I thought I was some type of feminist and I was not going to be doing anything that might be considered a "female task". I know, silly right. I blame my overly feminist education and a little on my dumb teenager brain. anyways, it turns out that homemade bread is actually quite delicious. but i have been struggling with making it good, so I decided it was time for a refresher course.

So I went to her house yesterday. interesting story, my parents just moved to a new house. when i got there, i rang the door bell! my sister, sandra, asked me, why i rang the bell, why didn't i just walk in? it never even occured to me to just walk in, like i would at their old house. I guess it just didn't feel like home.

anyways, she helped me make the dough, showed me the right way to knead and the result was incredibly delicious bread! i hope when i attempt it on my own, the result will have half as good. thanks again mom for all of your help!

Sounds good! Where did they move to? Did they sell their house in KY?
